November Wrap Ambassador, Sarah Stoquert!

Herkimer, NY (Tuesday Nov 8 2016)

Sarah began as a Family Service Coordinator at Kids Oneida in May, 2007, became a Senior Coordinator after a few years, and since 2010 been working with the Kids Herkimer Program as DDP/SPIN Coordinator. Over the years she has taken on many responsibilities at KO and, for this, I feel she embodies the principles of wraparound, making her MORE than worthy of an ambassador. Sarah has been involved with the Youth Empowerment Group for many years, spending nights, sometimes weekend hours, with this youth group to guide them in leading the way for our organization regarding the service provision they receive. Sarah has helped this group coordinate many Movie Nights, Volunteer efforts, and group activities. Sarah is very involved with the Wellness Committee, and actively advocates for her co-workers to be as healthy and well as they can! Sarah has chaired the Kids Fall Fest Party for several years and has made this event a great success that many can and do enjoy.

In her day to day duties, Sarah is an advocate for Family VOICE AND CHOICE, and continuously communicates this in her many community COLLABORATIONs throughout her work week. She is the epitome of PERSISTENCE when it comes to making sure a client has what they need to be successful, and has been known on many occasions to “fight” for what she knows her clients feel is what is best for their family. Sarah has a knack for seeking out a child or family’s STRENGTHS and working with them to seek out NATURAL RESOURCES to assist them in meeting their goals. She does her job so well, while staying focused on budget and OUTCOMES, so that her SPIN and DDP program can continue to grow and be supports to Herkimer County families.

Kids Herkimer is lucky to have Sarah as a part of our TEAM!
