December 2016 Wraparound Ambassador

Utica, NY (Wednesday Dec 14 2016)

Jeremy Callahan, a former service provider, joined the Return Home Early team in 2014. Jeremy’s ability to connect with youth in placement has become his “super power.” He has proven to be very persistent when looking for solutions to gaps within discharge plans with the goal of returning youth back home to their families. To make real progress with “out of home” youths Jeremy has truly embraced the wraparound principles. Being a Wraparound Ambassador takes a keen ear for what the child and family wants, a true collaboration of knowledge and natural resources, productive team work, a steady focus on goals and outcomes, an awareness and respect for cultural specifics and a true understanding of how unique each child and family’s needs really are. Jeremy has also served on several committees such as PhotoVoice, Staff Appreciation and special events planning. He has been a “go to” problem solver for general computer issues and “THE Man” for video conferencing arrangements. Jeremy nurtures positive agency morale by making others smile through casual banter. His smile is infectious, his beard is insane and being too serious about anything is never an option.
