Kids Oneida Raises Money for Red Cross Heroes Campaign

Kids Oneida Red Cross Heroes Campaign

Kids Oneida took part in the Red Cross Heroes Campaign to support the American Red Cross of the Mohawk Valley. The American Red Cross is a vital community resource that provides the Utica area with essentials that include disaster services and preparedness as well as health and safety education.

Kids Oneida set a goal of $1,000 and set forth to achieve this goal in two different ways. To ensure a high percentage of staff involvement, Kids Oneida gave its employees the opportunity to purchase up to 2 days off with 100% of the proceeds going to the Red Cross. In addition to staff donations, a $10,000 hole-in-one putt at the Kids Oneida golf tournament was offered to further support the Heroes Campaign.

While nobody was able to collect the $10,000 hole-in-one prize, the Campaign was a huge success and Kids Oneida easily exceeded their goal of $1,000, donating a grand total of $1,470 to the Red Cross.
